The Microbiology Outreach Foundation allowed me to show my true website designing skills. While it is based around science and STEM experiences (not my forte), I was able to bring my strengths in photography, blog writing, and design to create the website that stands today.
The non-profit was founded in 2023 and has sky-rocketed sine. Using the WordPress site to form the website you see today, I collaborated with our founder, Manuel Centeno, and our, at-the-time, communications director, Presley Kitamura.
From the initial creation, the team gave me full creative measures to create meaningful blog posts that highlight the work our team has done, as well as add in other insightful highlights using Canva creations to show how many students we’ve taught and which regions we’ve travelled to to teach students about microbiology.
